Lately, I've been thinking a lot about digital minimalism and how it can improve my workflow.
We live in a world flooded with tools, software, and the constant need for instant gratification.
It's overwhelming.
But what if we could refine our tools and processes with intention? By choosing less, we might actually be able to focus on bigger goals and accomplish more.
I’ve been making some big changes in my business, leaning into a new agency route. For the past five years, I've used ClickUp, a tool I adore for its versatility. As the Director of Operations at a nonprofit, ClickUp has been essential. It's fantastic for coordinating the many moving parts, departments, and board members. However, for my personal business, I find that I’m not utilizing all its features. It feels too busy and sometimes distracting.
That’s why I’m moving away from ClickUp. I'm not sure what I'll switch to yet, but I'm seeking a simpler interface that helps me feel calm and focused.
So, think about it: How many tools or pieces of software are cluttering your digital workspace?
What can you let go of?
Where can you find a sense of calm?
Maybe some of what you're using actually makes you feel more chaotic. If that's the case, it might be time to refine your digital world.
